John Carey

John is a stalwart of the club and is known by all as JC. He has provided over 10 years service to the club, initially as equipment manager, before being promoted to the position of team manager at the beginning of the 2006-07 season. John is now responsible for ensuring the logistical side of the team is run efficiently, dealing with such matters as player registration and travel arrangements.

John has also worked with Woodway, Milford ARL and Leeds Tykes Vets. Prior to joining the Tykes John has worked as painter and decorator and a HGV lorry driver. John is also a lifelong Leeds United fan and his childhood hero was Peter Lorimar.
