In 2009 Leeds Carnegie launched a new Coach the Coaches initiative as part of their Community programme. The programme is aimed at amateur and school coaches and takes the form of individual masterclasses, which are led by the Leeds Carnegie coaches at various venues across Yorkshire.
Each club and school who attend the masterclass are given free registration for Bob Dwyer's Rugby Workshop online tool, which some of the Master Class Content is based and which features demonstrations by Leeds Carnegie players.
This year's Coach the Coaches sessions will return at the beginning of November with the first being led by Leeds Carnegie Head Coach Diccon Edwards.
The first is event this season is taking place on the 3rd of November at Kirkstall and will be based around continuity of play. It starts at 6.30pm and will be based both inside for a presentation and then an hour outside for a practical session.
The Leeds Carnegie Coach the Coaches events are free to attend and are open to coaches of all levels and abilities.
If you are interested in attending any of the Coach the Coaches masterclasses please contact stephen.costello@leedsrugby.com or call 0113 2033287.
