Leeds Carnegie Academy

Since its inauguration in 2001 the Leeds Carnegie Academy has, through its commitment to player development, established a reputation as one of the leading Academies in the country, continually receiving excellent assessments from the sports governing bodies whilst aiming to support each player fulfill their potential.

The aim of the Academy is to produce players for the Leeds Carnegie first team as well as developing players who have the potential to step up to represent their country on the international scene.

A strong and healthy Academy system is key to any team's long term success and Leeds Carnegie understand the importance of working with local clubs and schools to uncover some of the county's most talented players.

The club's first wave of Academy graduates included Tom Palmer, the team's first ever England international, who helped pave the way for a new generation of players who have emerged from the Leeds Carnegie Academy and gone on to play the game at the highest level, with the likes of England internationals Danny Care and Jordan Crane amongst the Academy's famous alumni.
