It served as a warning to Leeds and a smart move involving Forsyth and Morris was finished off by Robinson for the opening try of the evening in the sixth minute.
Lewington then found space on the left where his grubber was fielded by Tom Barrett in front of his own line and run into touch. Green won the lineout and though Tigers were unable to get the drive going, the ball was moved right where Morris darted through a gap for the second try.
Tigers added two tries in quick succession to secure the bonus point inside the opening quarter. First, Mulipola peeled off a maul and over from short range. Lewington caught the restart and his kick infield found Forsyth for a free run to the line. Ford converted all four tries to give Tigers a 28-0 lead after 20 minutes.
Leeds regrouped and enjoyed a period of possession in the Tigers half, opting for the corners with a couple of kickable penalties. James Tyson almost broke through on the half hour but the flanker knocked on in a tackle by Lewington eight metres short.
Tigers were soon back on the attack and added two more tries before half-time with Ford the creator. His chip was collected by hooker Thacker under the Leeds posts for Tigers' fifth try before a flowing move ended with Ford putting Robinson on an angled run to the left corner. Ford maintained his 100 per cent kicking record to give Tigers a 42-0 lead at the break.
Tigers had to weather Leeds pressure at the start of the second half and in doing so conceded a couple of penalties in their own 22. Eventually referee Richard Kelly lost patience, yellow-carding Pienaar. Leeds made the man advantage count, with lock Richard Beck forcing his way over on the right for Leeds' only score of the night.
Tigers hit back with three tries in quick succession. Lewington scored the first, breaking through the Leeds defence and racing over from halfway. Tom Armes then swooped on loose ball to score on the right before Lewington finished smartly for his second try.
Morris then arced a run through the Leeds defence from halfway for his second try of the game before another run by the former Leinster man created a chance for Lewington to score his hat-trick try on the left under pressure.
In the closing moments, replacement Macauley scored the 12th and final try, which Ford converted with the last kick of the game.
